The group was formed on the JTBC's audition show SuperBand as a four-members band. They got eliminated in the semi-final. Following the conclusion of the show, three of the members, Kevin Oh, Choi Young Jin and Lee Jong Hoon, decided to keep doing music together as a group.
They refered to themselves as the "No name band" during schedules and on SNS. They made the fans vote for their name through an online survey and "AfterMoon" was finally chosen. They released their first digital single "I Want It All" on November 23, 2019.
Their second digital single, "After Tonight", was released on July 15, 2021.
