Seok Matthew

On December 26, 2022, Matthew was revealed as one of the contestants of the survival show Boys Planet after being chosen by trainees as 'Shiny Boys'. On December 29, he was introduced as a contestant of Boys Planet, which premiered on February 2. During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 3rd overall, thus making him a member of ZEROBASEONE.

The group debuted on July 10, 2023 with the mini album Youth in the Shade. On February 9, 2026, WAKEONE announced that Matthew and fellow ZEROBASEONE member Park Gun Wook have signed exclusive contracts with the agency, fully transferring from their previous agencies.
