On November 26, 2021, C-JeS opened up the Instagram account for the trainee group M. I. C, which stood for Made In C-JeS.
On March 22, 2022, Kim Junmin (then known as Jayder) was officially introduced as a member of the trainee group M. I. C.
The group debuted as WHIB on November 8, 2023 with the single album "Cut-Out". On June 12, 2025, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys II Planet, representing C-JeS Studios. He ranked 13th place overall in the finale episode, thus being unable to debut with ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
On October 2, C-JeS Studios announced that Jayder will be going by his birth name Kim Junmin.
