On January 5, 2026, former member of n. SSign and withus, Junhyeok announced an upcoming five-member group WEZAG will be hosting a mini live & event to celebrate the release of their debut mini album. The event will be hosted on February 22 and February 23.
On January 22, 2026, a schedule for the group debut was unveiled, revealing that the members will be introduced on January 26 before starting the promotion for their debut album scheduled for February 27. On January 26, the members were revealed to be Taehyun, Sion, Junhyeok, Doa and Kyungtaek. From February 13 to February 17, WEZAG started teasing their pre-debut mini album The First Harmony.
On February 19, they announced that the album would be released on February 27.
