On March 1, 2023, Jeongyoon was introduced as a trainee in WEUS Entertainment. He was then officially introduced as the third member of the company's boy group WEUS on April 2. They debuted on April 3, 2023 with the single album "Purple Sky".

However, he left the group on July 2 2023. On December 3, 2023, Jeongyoon was introduced as a member of the upcoming boy group 3WAY. The group made their debut on February 27, 2025 with the mini album Highway.
