During late 2018, Choon Entertainment announced a new boy group by the name of WITZ. The group consisted of Eson, Jooan, and Kyeongheon. In April, it was announced that WITZ would be debuting with the additional members Shihyun and Min.
On May 27, 2019, they debuted with their first self-titled mini album. On October 23, 2019, Min left the group and terminated his contract due to personal reasons. On January 15, 2021, in a now deleted Instagram post, Kyungheon revealed that they had all terminated their contracts with Choon Entertainment due to internal circumstances.
This was further confirmed by the deletion of their Instagram account and their inactivity on other SNS accounts.
