On October 31, 2025, iNKODE released a video featuring Masato, Sen, Sun Jia Yang and Peng Jin Yu, which seemed to hint at the agency's upcoming boy group. On November 19, iNKODE officially introduce Sen as part of the INTHE X Project which will create a new boy group. The next day, Teru and Peng Jin Yu were officially introduced, followed by Sun Jia Yang, Masato, and Mano.
On February 25, 2026, a teaser was released revealing that the members would be divided into two groups with different concepts: KEYVITUP with a trendy and dynamic concept and VAY ONN with a dreamy and fresh concept.
