On June 12, 2025, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys II Planet, representing IST Entertainment. On September 4, he was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 48th place. On January 15, 2026, he was announced as a member of IST Entertainment upcoming boy group TUNEXX.

The group made their debut on March 3, 2026 with the mini album Set By Us Only.
