In July 2024, Hyukgi joined as a member of the multinational pre-debut boy group TRY1. The group opened a link in Rising Star to help fund the production costs of their debut album, which was open until October 15, 2024. On October 23, 2024, it was revealed the streaming links for their debut single album "Re: TRY1" on group's official Instagram account.
