On May 20, 2021, Min Kyu was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD. Unfortunately, he was eliminated during the fourth round. On October 18, 2024, he was revealed as a contestant on JTBC's Project 7 but was unable to pass the survival round.
On November 12, 2025, he was revealed as the fifth and final member and the bassist of THE SSYNDROME.
