On May 29, 2020, Ivan was revealed as the next member fourth member of The KingDom (formerly known as KINGDOM). On February 18, 2021, he made his debut as a member of KINGDOM with the release of their debut mini album History of Kingdom : PartⅠ. Arthur.
On January 20, 2025, GF Entertainmend announced Ivan, along with Arthur, will be appearing on an overseas program. On February 6, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers. The show began airing on February 8 and finished on May 10, 2025.
During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 3rd overall, thus making him a member. On May 20, GF Entertainment announced Ivan will resume group activities with The KingDom starting May 21.
