About
Han was born on September 14, 2000 in Incheon, South Korea. As a kid, he lived in Ampang Jaya, Malaysia. He originally thought his parents would be against his dream to become a singer, so he said he'd try for one year, but was accepted to become a trainee at JYP Entertainment in three months.
He is part of the rap trio 3RACHA with Bang Chan and Changbin. While the trio never officially made their debut, they released three mixtapes in 2017. Han participated in the survival show Stray Kids, which aired between October and December 2017, and made it to the end without having to face elimination.
As a result, he would make his debut with the group in the following year. On March 25 2018, he officially made his debut with the group Stray Kids and their mini album I Am Not. Han participated in the March 31, 2019, episode of the show King of Mask Singer as the masked singer 'Imgeokjjeong'.
He sang Paul Kim's "Me After You" in a duo with his competitor, and then DEAN's "D (Half Moon)" after he was eliminated. It was his first solo stage performance. Then, his second solo song, "I Got It", was released on November 6.
On January 30, 2021, he released his third solo song, "Alien", which is about loneliness and "feeling like an alien who’s dropped down to Earth". He released "Wish You Back", his fourth solo song, on April 24. "Happy", his fifth solo song, was released on June 5 and talks about wishing someone happiness even though it's been a long time since that person has left your side.
On February 12, 2023, he released his sixth solo song, "Volcano", which is a emotional song about the love with a volcano that can hurt but is needed regardless. He composed the song together with Bang Chan and wrote the lyrics himself.
