In 2020, Rainbow Company (later known as Rainbow E&M) created Future Idol, an idol development project for the purpose of debuting various project idol groups throughout 2021, 2022 and 2023 through its project, known as 'Future Idol Asia'. The group was introduced by Future Idol on August 10, 2023, with a teaser of their debut single "I Want You Stay" released on the same day.
