On June 18, 2023, VTuber and streamer Nino Sunday, along with THE HUBBLE OFFICE, opened a Twitter account named @godninoband and reported its plans to form their first virtual boy band, tentatively named Nino Band; They were recruiting new members aged 19 or older, available for 4 or more broadcasts per week and with a basic work environment. On July 22, Nino revealed through a teaser poster on his social media that the second member would be introduced the following day. On July 23, the band's profile reposted two posts from Koyo Tempest, which began its broadcasts on September 9.
On the same day, the Twitter account was renamed to SKOSHISM, indicating that they would continue under a new name. On September 16, SKOSHISM revealed its two logos and official color. On November 8, the opening of their YouTube channel was announced.
On November 22, its official Instagram and TikTok accounts were also opened. On December 30, Oto Rainy was similarly revealed as the third member, with his first broadcast occurring on February 2, 2024. On January 1, 2024, SKOSHISM announced that their official fandom name would be "Takusan", with the narutomaki (🍥) and broken heart (💔) emojis representing the band.
The fandom name was chosen through a contest held during the Christmas commemorative broadcast on December 26, 2023, and was selected through an internal meeting. On April 18, their Twitter account reposted two posts from Iro Cloud, which began its broadcasts on May 15, 2024, introducing him as the fourth member. Soon after, on May 31, Robo Frostor was revealed as the fifth and final member of the band.
His first broadcast was on June 30. On May 5, THE HUBBLE OFFICE and SKOSHISM revealed a new logo for the band on their official Twitter account. On June 22, it was announced a commemorative pop-up store and collaborative cafe at V-SQUARE, between July 17 and 27.
Additionally, Lotte Cinema will host a large fan event on July 19–20 and 26–27, 2025. Later that day, the agency revealed that SKOSHISM would release their first digital single "Mirai Line" on July 27, to commemorate their 2nd anniversary. On September 10, THE HUBBLE OFFICE announced that the band would release their second digital single "Flying", on the same day.
On December 18, the list of products that will be on sale at the band's new pop-up store, between December 30, 2025 and January 13, 2026, was announced.
