On December 14, 2020, the group's Instagram account was opened with the caption "coming soon" and the photo being the Sea Park logo. From February 11, 2021, until February 13, teaser photos were released teasing the introduction of their first member. The next day, on February 14, Gyeol was introduced as the first member of the group through a cover of the song "The Truth Untold" by BTS.
The second member of the group was then teased from March 4 to March 6. Keon was then introduced as the second member through his cover of "Dolphin" by OH MY GIRL on March 7. The third member of the group had released teaser photos from April 22 to April 24.
Minseo was then introduced as the third member on April 25 through a cooking video. Sea Park then released teaser photos for their fourth member from May 12 to May 14 before introducing Hyeongjun as their fourth member with his cover video of "Ring Ding Dong" by SHINee on May 15.
