On April 20, 2015 it was announced that CT Entertainment and would be partnering up to debut new boy group ROMEO. They made their debut on May 7 with their first EP The ROMEO. On October 28, they announced their second EP Zero In.
It was released on November 5. On May 17, 2016 their first digital single "Nightmare" was announced, to be released on May 23, 2016. On March 30, 2017 the group got into a car accident on the way to their fan sign event, thus canceling the event.
According to the agency, CT Entertainment, the members' injuries were not severe. The agency further confirmed that the members only received minor bruises and muscle pain from the accident, and they are going to cancel the group's upcoming performance on Music Bank. On February 20, 2018, CT Entertainment posted a statement to their fancafe apologizing for Milo's controversy and announcing that he would go on a hiatus.
Screenshots of messages shared between a Japanese fan and Milo were recently shared in an online community, suggesting them to stay in a hotel together while he was in Japan. The fan was allegedly a minor. On January 21, 2023, it was confirmed that ROMEO (with four members: Seunghwan, Kyle, Hyunkyung and Kangmin) will partake in JTBC's Peak Time.
Their silhouette were revealed through a performance of "Juliette" by SHINee. They were eliminated in the second episode.
