On October 28, 2022, he was revealed as a member of the pre-debut group RBW JBOYZ (later known as RBW Boys and RBW Trainee New ID), through a trainee vlog. On February 20, 2023, he was introduced as a contestant on MBC's boy group survival show Fantasy Boys. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the eleventh and final episode, which aired on June 8, 2023.
