Seo Seokjin debuted with the boy group N. CUS on August 27, 2019. Unfortunately, on January 5, 2022, fellow member Hojin revealed that the 8 out of 9 of the current members of N.
CUS had terminated their contract with Kyuri, leaving them presumably disbanded. Seokjin was to have been the only one to renew his contract. On March 30, 2022, Seokjin revealed that his contract with Kyuri had officially ended.
On February 3, 2023, he was revealed through poster alongside the fellow members Sungsub, Euntaek, Seungyong, and Hyeonmin, with a group new name, NCUS, showing also their March performance dates at K-Square in Tokyo, Japan hinting that the group would be active again.
