In July 2019, Yu Chan joined WM Entertainment and became a member of their trainee group WM Ggumnamu under his birth name. He left WM Entertainment sometime in 2022. On December 13, 2023, he was revealed as a member of NCHIVE.
They debuted on April 9, 2024 with the single album "Drive".
