On November 4, 2022, MY Entertainment announced via Instagram that would launch their upcoming Japanese boy group, named MY0NE, and would consist of five members. Its names, symbols and representative colors, along with their logo, were revealed. On the same day, Shuhei and Rikuto were revealed as the first and second members, followed by Yamato, Seyu and Tsukito, respectively.
On January 4, 2024, Rikuto revealed that the group was preparing for their full stage debut in February. On February 7, the agency posted a statement announcing that MY0NE would officially be disbanded, following discussions about the future activities of its members during their break at the end of January. The members accounts on Pococha were deleted in accordance with the terms and conditions, while the group's official accounts were renamed to @myent_boys.
