On November 2, 2023, it was announced that MUL would be hosting concerts in Japan beginning on November 25 until December 28. On November 4, the members of the group were introduced. The lineup consisted of Woncheol, Luha and Kangsan.
On June 19, 2024, it was announced the group's debut had been cancelled. On May 18, 2025, MUL announced that they are returning as a group. On June 4, it was announced that the group would begin promotions in Japan on June 21 with their Shining Summer Always with MUL live performances.
On September 3, Shinwoo and Sunghun were announced to be joining the group. On October 29, Yunsol was announced to be joining the group.
