Sometime in 2019, [https://produce-101. fandom. com/wiki/Lee_Hwan Lee Hwan], Jeon Chanbin and Kang Junhyuk left the group due to personal reasons.
On January 31, 2020, DSP Media announced the launch of DSP N's official accounts including Twitter and V Live. On December 16, 2020, Song Jae Won, Hwang Woo Young and Jung Ho Jin were no longer in DSP Media. At midnight on February 1, 2021, DSP N announced through their fancafe that they would be now known as MIRAE.
An official logo motion video was released at the same time, along with the opening of their official SNS accounts. The agency revealed the group would make their debut sometime in March 2021. On February 2, Park Si Young was introduced as the group's first member, followed by Lee Jun Hyuk on the 3rd, Lien on the 4th, Son Dong Pyo on the 5th, Jang Yu Bin on the 6th, Khael on the 7th and Yoo Dou Hyun on the 8th.
A group profile film was released on the 9th. On February 22, 2021, DSP Media announced the group's debut mini album, Killa, was set to be released on March 17. They then debuted with their mini album along with the title track along with the music video for "Killa" on March 17.
On August 9, MIRAE announced their second mini album, Splash, set to release on August 25. On January 1, 2022, MIRAE announced their third mini album, Marvelous, set to release on January 12. On September 13, MIRAE announced their fourth mini album, Ourturn, set to release on September 28.
On December 7, MIRAE announced their special single, "Snow Prince", set to release on December 20. On December 19, DSP Media announced that Lien would be going on a two-week hiatus as he had received a diagnosis of vocal cord nodules and will have to get treatment and rest. The single was then released the next day.
On May 15, 2023, DSP Media announced that Jun Hyuk would be going on a hiatus after sustaining an ankle injury while filming their new music video. On July 3, MIRAE announced their fifth mini album, Boys will be Boys, set to release on July 19. On January 16, 2024, MIRAE announced their first Japanese mini album, Running Up, set to release on February 14.
On July 9, DSP Media released a statement through Weverse which revealed that MIRAE had officially disbanded after six out of the seven members concluded their activities with the group and terminated their exclusive contracts with the agency. However, member Son Dong Pyo will continue his individual activities with DSP Media.
