On October 23, he debuted as a member of Trophy, under the stage name Chan. 0. They released two singles before disbanding in 2016.
After some time, he became a member of the boy group M. O. N.
T, and, on May 19, 2017, they released a pre-debut digital single, titled "Sorry". Some months later, he, alongside fellow members, jonined the JTBC's survival show MIXNINE. He was eliminated in episode 10 after ranking 33rd place.
On January 4, he officially debuted as the leader of the boy group M. O. N.
T, with the mini album Going Up.
