Shin Ye Chan began playing the violin in third grade. He took part of busking group Ganeung-dong Band. In 2019, Shin Ye Chan joined JTBC's audition show SuperBand and won the second place with his band LUCY.
On March 27, 2020, MYSTIC89 announced they signed with the band and the group debuted on May 8, 2020 with their first single "Dear. ".
