He debuted as a member of IMFACT on January 27, 2016 with the single album "Lollipop". In late-2017, he became a contestant on KBS2's reality survival show The Unit. He was eliminated during the finale, having finished at eleventh place.
On January 3, 2022, Jeup announced that he had departed from Star Empire Entertainment after his contract expired. One day later, Star Empire announced that the members of IMFACT had parted ways with the agency. On April 11, it was announced that he has signed an exclusive contract with KH Company, and would be making his solo debut under the stage name seowool.
On August 17, KH Company announced that Seowool would be debuting in September with the digital single "Daystar". The release date was later revealed to be September 16. However, on September 12, KH Company stated that, due to internal circumstances, the release will be delayed.
On September 19, the new release date was revealed to be October 3. In January 2024, Jeup was revealed as a contestant on Mnet's reality survival show Build Up : Vocal Boy Group Survivor. The show began airing on January 26, and on its finale, aired on March 29, it was announced that Jeup had unfortunately been eliminated.
On April 30, he announced his first mini album, My Everything, set to be released on May 18. On June 12, KH Company announced Jeup's fifth digital single "Time We Loved", which would be released on June 25. On July 8, it was revealed that Lee Donghun and Park Je Up will be teaming up as D&J and will be debuting on July 13 with the digital single " I Still".
On October 11, KH Company announced Park Je Up's second mini album Mellifluous, which would be released sometime in November. On November 15, pre-orders for the album opened, revealing the release date to be November 29. On July 10, KH Company released a teaser image for Park Je Up's third mini album Archive, which would be released on July 25.
On March 13, he announced that he would release his 6th digital single, "Love Is Here" on March 27, 2026.
