On January 10, 2019, Yeonjun was revealed as the first member of Big Hit Entertainment's newest boy group TXT. He made his official debut with the group on March 4, 2019 with their debut mini album, The Dream Chapter: Star. On March 15, 2022, it was confirmed that Yeonjun, alongside and Seo Bum June, would be the new MCs for the SBS music show Inkigayo.
They then hosted their first episode on the April 3rd broadcast. He hosted his last Inkigayo episode on April 14, 2024. On September 6, 2024, it was announced that Yeonjun would be introduced as a solo artist later that same month with his first mixtape.
On September 8, BigHit announced that he would be releasing his first mixtape "Yeonjun's Mixtape: Ggum" on September 19. On August 27, 2025, BigHit Music confirmed that Yeonjun is currently working on a solo album scheduled to be released in November. On September 13, Yeonjun revealed that his first mini album would be released in November.
On October 16, Yeonjun revealed that his debut mini album, No Labels: Part 01, would be released on November 7.
