On July 27, 2021, Siyoung signed an exclusive contract with H Company. On October 13, Siyoung was announced as the first member of the upcoming boy group H Boyz. He then left the company and group sometime later that year.
On May 25, 2022, he was revealed as a member of the pre-debut group OCJ NEWBIES under the stage name Austin. On November 22, they announced that Austin would not debut with the group due to knee injury. The company and he made a decision to develop his career as an actor under the stage name Seunga.
