On March 10, 2011, Kim Tae Woo unveiled a teaser for T-School, scheduled for March 22. On March 14, Kim Tae Woo announced that he terminated his contract with Polaris Entertainment and established a one-man agency, Soul Shop Entertainment On September 28, 2012, Kim Tae Woo teased the digital single "Duble Kick Project Vol. 01", which will be released on October 4.

On February 18, 2013, Kim Tae Woo unveiled the music video teaser for "Cosmic Girl", the title track for the album T-Love, scheduled for February 20. On December 15, 2014, Soul Shop Entertainment announced that Kim Tae Woo will be releasing the digital single "둘이면" the following day. On June 20, 2017, Soul Shop Entertainment announced that Kim Tae Woo would be returning with his fifth full-length album, T-With on July 3.
