On April 25, 2022, FAVE1 opened up their SNS accounts and posted their logo. The accounts were then following four former 100% members: Rock Hyeon, Jonghwan, Chanyong, and Hyukjin. On April 29, they then announced their first Japanese fanmeeting FAVE1 Japan 1st Fanmeeting "1 Chu♡" with two dates in Tokyo and Osaka.
On May 11, 2022, they announced that they will debut in Japan with the single "Zombie" on July 20. On May 31, 2023, it was announced that Chanyong left the group. On June 3, they announced that they will release their second single "Sirius" on September 20.
On April 18, 2024, FAVE1 announced their third single "Hanataba", scheduled to be released on July 3. On September 21, 2024, FAVE1 announced their special single "Christmas Kiss", scheduled to be released on December 18. On July 9, 2025, FAVE1 announced their first digital single "We in Summer", scheduled to be released on July 20.
On October 30, it was announced that FAVE1 will enter an indefinite hiatus starting December 31, 2025, and from 2026 each member will continue their individual activities. On November 14, FAVE1 has released the teaser photos for their final concerts before entering an indefinite hiatus, "One", scheduled to be held on December 23 and 28. On December 18, FAVE1 announced their second digital single "Forest", which will be released the following day.
