On April 21, 2024, EXCEED released official member photos for their members, revealing Geumryul, Sunghyen and Hyeonki as its members. On July 17, 2024, EXCEED announced that they would soon be releasing their first digital single "RDBX". On June 20, 2025, it was announced that Sunghyen would be departing from the group due to issues with his military service that restricted his overseas traveling.
It was also announced that new members would be joining the group. On June 12, 2025, EXCEED revealed that Joichiro, Seungho and Ikjun would be joining the group. On November 12, 2025, it was announced that Ikjun would be temporarily suspending his activities due to a herniated disc.
On January 17, 2026, EXCEED released a statement announcing that they would be ceasing activities on January 30 and the members would be going their separate ways.
