About
Sunghoon became a trainee at BigHit Entertainment towards the end of 2017, following a period of scouting. On June 1, 2020, Sunghoon was introduced as a contestant on the CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment reality survival show I-LAND. On September 18, he ranked 6th place by global votes and became a member of the boy group ENHYPEN.
On November 30, he then debuted in ENHYPEN with the release of their first mini album Border : Day One. On September 27, 2021, it was revealed that he, alongside IVE's Wonyoung, would be the new MCs of Music Bank, with his first broadcast taking place on October 8. He made a cameo appearance on episode 2 of the web drama Mimicus, playing himself.
On September 1, 2022, it was announced that Sunghoon would be stepping down from the MC position on Music Bank.
