On March 3, 2025, EZ Entertainment opened the SNS accounts for their upcoming boy group DIAZ. On the same day, they updated their website with "Project DIAZ" and introduced the members to be Mingun, Donghyuk, Sinwoo and Haruki. On March 4, EZ Entertainment revealed their group logo.
On the same day, it has been reported by Japanese news sites that DIAZ will be promoting in Japan in April until June 2025 prior to debut. EZ Entertainment has signed a contract with K-Stage O! for the group's live performances in Japan.
They are also cooperating with Bw K-POP Academy to conduct an audition for the possibility of adding a new member to the lineup.
