In October 2012, the group began promoting as five at various events, under the name A. Z. A.
The lineup consisted of Yoon, Nakhun, Sangbum, Haekeun and Yoon Hyeondo, who later left the group. After his departure, they became a four-member group and changed their name to Demion. On January 2, 2013, Demion made their first post on their Twitter account, wishing fans a Happy New Year and revealed that they would be debuting in the second half of the year.
On April 1, 2013, it was announced that Yoon had been injured during the filming of their debut music video on March 27 and that their debut would be delayed. The same month, they revealed their new fifth member, Ssun. On August 16, 2013, the agency announced that plans for their debut would be revealed soon.
On the 21st of the same month, the first teaser photo of their debut was released. On September 27, 2013, Demion made their debut with their first single album "Ask Her Out". On October 9, 2013, Demion made their music show debut on Show Champion.
In December 2013, the group held their first solo concert at Shin-Okubo Showbox in Tokyo, Japan on the 13th and 14th. On January 29, 2014, Demion revealed that the group was working on their first comeback and asked fans to support the group in the future. On October 5, 2014, Nakhun announced on his Twitter account that Demion had disbanded due to financial problems of the company and assured fans that the members were still supporting each other with their individual career.
- Nakhun became active as a creative director. - Sangbum opened his own agency All Around shortly after the group's disbandment announcement. He later became a member of the duo All Around Crew in 2014, co-ed duo UNE in 2016 and debuted as a solo artist with the single "What You Like" on December 20, 2018, under the stage name Ve-known.
- Ssun became active as a rapper in Vietnam in 2015 but appeared to have left the entertainment industry. - Haekeun was a potential member of the boy group INX but was cut from the final line-up. He later became active active as the owner of his own clothing store 1990's.
- Yoon appeared to have left the entertainment industry.
