In October 2017, Intae participated to the auditions on JTBC's new survival show MIXNINE under 2Y Entertainment. Unfortunately he did not become an official contestant. In 2018, he made dance cover of various artists under DPOP Studio, now known as UPVOTE Entertainment.
In 2019, he was a trainee under JTG Entertainment and in 2020 he was part of pre-debut group JTG Boys but he has never been revealed as a member. On September 19, 2021, he was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group Black Level. They debuted on February 26, 2022 with the mini album New-Start.
The group is assumed to have disbanded in 2024. On March 13, 2024, he was announced as a member of DAYCHILD. They will debut on May 6, 2024 with the single album "Illumination".
