On July 22, 2017, Hyun Woong made his debut in the boy group 14U with the single album "VVV". He was a member of the group until their disbandment on May 13, 2019. On November 21, 2019, Hyun Woong was introduced as the fourth member of 2Z.
It was revealed in the video that he will be the main rapper of the boy band that is a collaboration between Morph and GOGO2020. He officially made his debut with the band on January 14, 2020 with the EP We Tuzi:. On June 17, 2020, it was announced that he had decided to leave the band.
On October 6, 2022, he was revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group D-ONE.
