On August 12, 2021, Yeojun was introduced as the 36th contestant of the survival show Wild Idol. Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the third episode and was unable to make it further in the show. On December 29, 2022, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys Planet, representing Jellyfish Entertainment.
On March 2, he was eliminated in episode 5 after ranking 62nd place. On September 26, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Project 7. During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 6th overall, thus making him a member of CLOSE YOUR EYES.
The group debuted on April 2, 2025 with the mini album Eternalt. On May 8, it was announced that Yeo Jun, along with Jeon Min Wook and 82MAJOR's Nam Seong Mo, would become the new MCs for MBC's music program Show Champion. Their first broadcast as MCs took place on May 14.
