On May 19, 2025, Spheres Entertainment opened up the Instagram accounts for their new boy group, BOY19ER. Starting October 10, BOY19ER began introducing their members, Nam Dohyun, Kim Sion and Jung Yoonho, followed by Seo Dowon, Park Junil and Han Minkyu on October 11, Kang Sechan on October 12. On October 13, it was announced Nam Dohyun, Kim Sion and Park Junil changed their stage names to Nam Hyunwoo, Kim Seon and Park Junwon, respectively.
On January 5, 2026, the group annonced their US song camp in Los Angeles, taking place starting January 10 to March 3.
