On October 15, 2015, Taegeon debuted as a member of M. Crown with the release of their first digital single, "대도무문. " Following the disbandment of M.
Crown, he was introduced as a member of the pre-debut group Challenger in 2017. He left the group at some point in 2018. On January 30, 2019, Taegeon re-debuted as a member of MustB with their first digital single "I Want U".
On November 8, 2023, MustM Entertainment announced the group's disbandment following the termination of their exclusive contracts. However, the remaining members later confirmed that the group had reformed under a new name, BE:MAX, after signing with a new label.
