On September 8, 2015, it was announced that BARA would be rebranded into a new group called B. Crown following Youngho's enlistment. The same month, the group's lineup was revealed, consisting of BARA's Sooheok, Chanhwi and two new members: Seulgi and Hyunwoo.
On March 5, 2016, the group released "If.. " along with its music video. On June 3, Sangwon was introduced as a new member, making them a five-member boy group.
With this, the group officially debuted with their first Japanese single album "Namida" on August 24. On October 28, it was announced that Sangwon would be going on a hiatus due to the worsening of his lungs condition. On January 1, 2017, Sangwon's departure was officially announced.
On December 13, the group released their first mini album Lucky. A music video for the Korean version of "Lucky" was later released on December 16. On July 2, 2018, it was announced that Seulgi had enlisted in the military for his mandatory military service.
Meanwhile, the group continued to promote as a trio. On February 11, 2020, it was announced that Chanhwi and Seulgi had left the group. Seulgi left the group to start a new chapter in his life while Chanhwi left the group due to undisclosed reasons.
With this, they became active as a duo. On June 26, 2022, they released their second single album "Persona". A music video for the Korean version of the song was later released on October 2.
On July 29, 2023, the duo returned with their third single album "Hoshi No Kanade". On January 4, 2024, it was announced that Sooheok would be graduating from the group and that B. Crown would continue as a solo act with Hyunwoo.
Sooheok later officially left the group on March 31, 2024. On March 13, 2025, their SNS were rebranded for Hyunwoo’s solo activities and the group presumably disbanded.
