On March 14, 2022, it was revealed that un upcoming five-member boy group called AMBITION will be performing at ShowBox in Tokyo, Japan, in April. On November 10, 2022, they revealed their pre-debut concert with its December performance dates at Showbox in Tokyo. In addition, they also revealed that they would made their debut in Japan.
On January 25, 2024, it was announced that Taeho left the group. On February 6, 2026, the group released a new line-up group photo featuring Minseog as the newest member.
