On August 31, 2025, TOV Entertainment released a logo motion for their upcoming boy group AM8IC, along with the opening of their official SNS accounts. On September 1, the agency announced that the group make their official debut by the second half of the year. On the same day, Saho was revealed as the first member, followed by Mingkai on September 2, Chungyi on September 3, Roux on September 4, and Chen on September 5, respectively.
On September 8, 2025, it was announced that they would be debuting with the EP Lukoie. The release date was later revealed to be November 10. "Buzzin'" was pre-released on October 23.
