On August 10, 2023, Kenny was introduced as a member of Singing Beetle's upcoming boy group, tentatively named SB BOYZ, followed by Hyuk and Seok on October 4, and Aito on January 26, 2024. On September 19, 2024, the group was revealed to be named 1VERSE and opened their SNS accounts. On December 21, the group teased for new content on December 24 through SNS accounts.
That day, a cover of "Mistletoe" by Justin Bieber was posted on the group's YouTube account featuring an unrevealed member. On December 25, Nathan was revealed as the fifth member of 1VERSE. On June 20, 2025, it was announced that 1VERSE will be debuting on July 18, 2025 with the single album "The 1st Verse".
"Multiverse" was pre-released on July 4. On September 6, Singing Beetle announced that Hyuk will be going on hiatus temporarily due to personal and health reasons. On January 10, 2026, they announced their second digital single "WABIF", set for release on January 21.
