On September 17, 2022, it was revealed that YOUNGEST is currently preparing to release their fourth digital single, "Bad Girl", with their fourth generation of members. The single's release date was continuously postponed and was initially expected to release in late 2022 or early 2023. Despite the long delays, "Bad Girl" was eventually released on August 22, 2023.
