Nova

Sometime in early 2022, then known only as Maria (마리아) joined GBK Entertainment and became a trainee on their online training platform Universe, which aims to select girls to became potential members of a future girl group. On November 29, 2022, now known as Nova, was revealed as one of the five selected members of GBK's upcoming girl group MEP-C. However, in early 2023, she presumably left the group after the deletion of her profile post.

On March 7, 2023, she, along with Aria, were seen in the line-up reveal video of the 44th K-Stage Yes or No concert of which the upcoming girl group X:IN would be performing at on March 12, therefore confirming her as a member of the group. Later the same day, she was officially revealed as the fourth member of the group. They debuted on April 11, 2023 with their first digital single "Keeping the Fire".
