She was revealed as a member of WJSN on December 17, 2015 as part of the group's Joy Unit. The group officially debuted on February 25, 2016 with their first mini album Would You Like?. On August 6, she debuted as a member of the project group Y TEEN with the single "Do Better".
On September 25, 2020, she was revealed as a member of WJSN's first sub-unit, WJSN CHOCOME. The unit debuted on October 7, 2020 with the single album "Hmph! ".
On April 25, it was reported that Yeoreum would be partaking in the reality survival show Queendom Puzzle as a contestant. On August 15, it was announced that Yeoreum had finished in 5th place and would be joining project group EL7Z UP. They debuted on September 14, 2023 with their first mini album 7+Up.
EL7Z UP is assumed to have disbanded in 2024.
