On October 27, 2018, she was revealed as the seventh member of FAVEGIRLS. On May 11, 2020, her profile photo for Weeekly was revealed. The group debuted on June 30 with the mini album We Are.
On February 26, 2025, IST Entertainment announced that all Weeekly members have terminated their contract with them. The future activities of the group remain undecided as of now. On January 21, 2026, JJ Music Group announced their then-upcoming music project SoFA which would begin with the collaboration single "Throwback Memories" by Hong Dayoung, Gwak Yujin and Lee Jaehee, set to be released on January 23.
