On August 11, 2023, VVS released a schedule for their pre-debut single "Bang Bang", set to release on August 24. On August 19, the group photos were posted confirming that Taeseok would be in the group. On August 21, his individual concept photos were then released.

On July 11, 2024, it was announced that the group would release their debut digital single "We On Top" and pre-perform on July 15. Then, on August 6, their music video and debut album were released on online streaming platforms.
