On November 27, 2018, UPVOTE Entertainment revealed their first trainee girl group UPVOTE GIRLS, through a dance cover video, revealing also DPOP Friends Seo Songhee, Suhyun and Cho Hyewon joined in it, followed by Kim Sol-E on December 6 and Seoyun on December 26. On March 20, 2019, they revealed another new member, Whee In, through a dance cover video. The group seems to have been stopped after the UPVOTE GIRLS name was completely dropped by UPVOTE Entertainment around July 2019.
