On August 14, 2012, J. Tune Camp announced plans for a girl group called Two X, consisting of Jiu, Eun, Surin, Eunyoung and Minjoo. On the 12th of the same month, they made their first comeback with the single album "Ring Ma Bell".
Throughout the rest of the year, they continued to promote through various events. On November 7, 2014, it was revealed that Two X has departed from J. Tune Camp and signed with the Hong Kong-based company Star Gaze Entertainment.
On April 21, 2015, it was announced through their fancafe that they had terminated their contract with the management agency SG-MR. As a result, their SNS were deleted. Star Gaze Entertainment later clarified that they would be directly managing Two X from now on and announced plans for a comeback in the second half of 2015.
In January 2016, the agency opened new SNS for the group. With this, it was revealed that Minjoo had left the group and they planned to make a comeback as four. On August 16, they performed "Over", the title track of their upcoming album, on The Show.
On the 23rd of the same month, Two X made their first comeback in three years with their third single album "Reboot". In 2017, the group became inactive. On June 26, 2018, Eun revealed on Instagram that the group had disbanded quietly.
Following the disbandment of Two X, the members went their separate ways: - Jiu worked at a freezer warehouse. She later got a certificate and became a Zumba instructor. She also has a YouTube channel, where she occasionally posts mukbangs.
- Eun appears to have left the entertainment industry and occasionally models. - Eunyoung became a florist in 2019. She also has a YouTube channel where she posts camping videos.
- Minjoo worked as a PD for awhile, before becoming a streamer.
