In May 2015, Blessing entertainment announced their upcoming girl group Twinkle, consisting of members Dohee, Yumi, Areum, Junhee and Sol-E. On February 3, 2016, they revealed a new member, Sujin. In March 2016, it was announced that the group had moved to Elephant Entertainment.
On April 4, 2016, they announced that they will participate at baseball match of KIA Tigers. On April 23, 2016, Elephant Entertainment revealed the addition of two 'hidden members', consisting of Sunyul and Eunbyeol, therefore making Twinkle a seven-member girl group. It is known that Sunyul was a former member of VIVIDIVA while Eunbyeol was a former member of ACE.
In July 2016, six members of Twinkle were featured as dancers in the music video of "Rumba" by MAN3E. However, after July, no further updates were made regarding Twinkle's debut and all their company SNS went inactive. Hence, it is assumed that Twinkle disbanded while Elephant Entertainment became defunct.
Following the disbandment of Twinkle, the members went their separate ways: - On February 27, 2018, Sunyul, now known as Go Woon, debuted as the lead vocalist of the girl group SHA SHA with the release of their debut single album, "You & Me Forever SHASHA". SHA SHA disbanded on July 17, 2019. Later, Go Woon made her debut as a soloist on February 11, 2020 with the release of her first digital single, "Something".
- On April 9, 2020, Eunbyeol, now known as Pichu, was revealed as a member of the upcoming girl group, Delight. However, during a group hiatus, Pichu had left the group lineup without a debut. The circumstances of the other members are still currently unknown.
